Priya Patel, CPA

Priya Patel joined JHA in 2026 as a Staff Accountant. She earned both her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting and Master of Accountancy from Middle Tennessee State University, where she received the MTSU Presidential Scholarship, the Institute of Internal Auditors Scholarship, and the Accounting Alumni Appreciation Day MAcc Scholarship. She earned her CPA in 2026 and holds a Dale Carnegie Certificate of Achievement.

Priya specializes in auditing, with experience serving clients in healthcare, music, hospitality, government, and nonprofit industries. Her background includes multiple tax and audit internships and a previous role as an auditor, where she tested internal controls, performed substantive testing, leveraged data analytics, and communicated audit findings to seniors and managers.

She is a member of TSCPA, AICPA, IIA, and AGA, and previously served as Co-Candidate and Social Media Coordinator for Beta Alpha Psi and Secretary of the Audit and Managerial Accounting Club. Outside of work, Priya enjoys reading, working out, and spending time with friends and family.
